Justin M. Tully brings over 15 years of proven leadership and operational expertise to his role as Vice President of Operations & Training at GSG Learning Institute (GSGLI). A decorated U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant (E-7, Retired), Justin’s career embodies the core principles of discipline, precision, and performance under pressure. His command experience in tactical operations, security management, and training development has positioned him as a trusted leader across both military and private-sector environments.
At GSGLI, Justin oversees all facets of training with a focus on security operations —ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, readiness, and compliance. He directs large-scale training programs for armed and unarmed personnel, leads strategic risk assessments, and implements operational protocols that align with both state and federal requirements. His leadership ensures that your officers and attendees are equipped not just with technical skills, but with the judgment and confidence needed to perform in dynamic, high-risk settings.
Before joining GSGLI, Justin built a distinguished 15-year career in the United States Marine Corps, serving in diverse leadership roles that included reconnaissance, force protection, and crisis response operations. He planned and executed small-unit tactical missions, led Special Reaction Team (SRT) deployments, and supervised training programs that enhanced readiness across multiple commands. His ability to translate battlefield discipline into structured corporate performance continues to define his leadership approach.
In addition to his law enforcement and tactical experience, Justin has held leadership positions in both retail and international business operations. These roles deepened his business acumen, operational strategy skills, and cross-cultural leadership capabilities.
Justin holds educational credentials from Arizona State University in Business Management and Texas A&M University’s Emergency Services Training Institute, among others. He is a certified firearms and security instructor, FAA-licensed remote pilot, and American Red Cross Instructor, reflecting his broad technical and instructional range.
